Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Venie, 64, of Front Royal died April 16, 1976 in Warren Memorial Hospital. She was born in Rappahannock County, a daughter of Lena Gilbertson.
Surviving with her husband, Henry Marshall Venie, are a daughter, Mrs. Bessie Johnson of Front Royal; a brother, Charles Henry Pendleton of Strasburg; three sisters, Madeline Jeffries of Amissville, Mrs. Irene Gray and Mrs. Meeter Pendleton, both of Harrisburg, Pa.; and three grandchildren.
A funeral service conducted by the Rev. Carter Allsberry was held Tuesday at Bethel Baptist Church, Amissville and interment was in the church cemetery.
Robertshaw Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.□
