Marie Fletcher placed third in the 100 yd. dash and Dawn Keithley placed 2nd and set a new school record in the mile. Peanut Mahoney placed 3rd in that competition. Janice Aylor placed 2nd in the 440 and 2nd also in the 880. Connie DelGrosso was 2nd in the 220; Wendy Jenkins placed 3rd. And finally, in the Mile Relay, our team of Faye Dunn, Karen Welch, Mary Hudson and C.C. Taylor placed 1st.
The Building Trades Class is selling saw horses and would like to thank the following for the help they’ve given the class in doing this: Ramsey True Value Inc., Gilliam Lumber Co. and The Rappahannock Farmer’s Co-op.
This will be a special weekend for Juniors and Seniors because Saturday is their annual Prom. That’s always a high light of any year.
