The heaviest actual 365-day weight for Angus bulls was recorded this year by a Rappahannock animal, Bleak Hill Dynamo, owned by Robert P. Anderson of Bleak Hill Farm, Woodville. The bull was on test at Red House Station at Red House, Va., which is sponsored by the Virginia BCIA. On his birthday Bleak Hill Dynamo was weighed in by James Bennett, owner and operator of the test station, and tipped the scales at 1,235 pounds. He was 0.5 inches at the hip. The calf, weaned at 205 days, weighed 656 pounds at that time. One third interest in the animal was recently purchased by C. E. Johnson, The Oaks Farm, Sperryville.
