Mr. ana Mrs. .Bennie Allans ana children, Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Heflin were Father’s Day dinner guests of Mr. Atkin’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Silas Atkins in Markham. Later the Heflins visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Heflin in Warrenton.
Monday evening Mr. and Mrs. Danny Hickerson, Dannette and Gregory were in Front Royal to visit Mrs. Frank Dixon who returned home Sunday from Warren Memorial Hospital.
Miss Kim Gilkey left Monday for Blacksburg to attend the 4-H Club Congress being held this week at V.P.I.
Mr. and Mrs. Andrew J. Williams and children of Culpeper were recent visitors of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew R. Williams. After a four-day visit with the Andrew R. Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Daniel and daughter, Angie, left for their home in Newport News and daughter Cindy remained for another week. Sunday Mrs. Williams and her daughter, Mrs. Daniel, Cindy Daniel and Donna Williams attended a batontwirling contest in Manassas, in which the 12-year old Cindy was a contestant.
Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Williams had as callers Sunday his daughters, Mrs. Marcelle McNeill and Mrs. Estelle Sibert, and his son, Maynard Williams, all of Front Royal.
Mrs. Walter H. Williams, Jr. visited her sister, Mrs. Isabel Butler in Front Royal Saturday. Visitors in the Williams’ home Monday were Mrs. Alfred Reil and Wanda Marie, Derrick and Eric, and Billy Sears of Front Royal.
This year the Chester Gap Carnival will start Wednesday, June 30 and end Saturday, July 3.
