The marriage of Janet Hackley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Graham Hackley of Amissville, to Ronald Makela, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy 0. Makela of Grand Rapids, Mich, took place Sunday, June 13, at the home of her parents.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents and brother. Larry. The Rev. Douglas Kanney of Charlottesville officiated.

Deborah Zinn, the bride’s cousin, presented several songs, accompanying herself on guitar. Patricia Livingston of Chesapeake was the honor attendant. Barbara Marquiss of Richmond and Sharon Walker of Roanoke were bridesmaids. Mr. Makela was best man for his son. A picnic reception followed the ceremony.

The wedding cake was served by Mafsha Edwards. Brenda Clarke and Peggie Hitt presided at the punch bowls. Liesa Tilley and Hazel Zinn, cousins of the bride, attended the guest book. Music during the reception was furnished by R. B. Frazier and the Virginia Travelers.
