IN MEMORIAM
For Fathers Day In memory of our Father, Herbert J. Leake, who passed away 7 years ago, June 24, 1969. It’s not the tears that are shed at the time, That tells of the Hearts that are broken, But silent tears in the after years, And remembrance fondly spoken. God knows how much we miss you Daddy, Never shall your memory fade, Loving thoughts will always wander, To the spot where you are laid. The trails you went through, So few could Bear, Tho he had many heartaches, Many of which we cause the pain, Never once did he admit it, Never once did he complain, Oh Daddy dear we love you, Our hearts -ache for you still, Forgotten by some others, But by us you never will.
