Titchenell and Mrs. W. F. Moffett Jr. kept the Moffett children while their parents were away. Page Moffett, who has been working this summer in New York, arrived Wednesday to spend some time with his parents, Judge and Mrs. Moffett, prior to his return to the University of Virginia Law School in September.

Mrs. Mary Lea and Mrs. L. J. Turner, accompanied by Mrs. Frank Spalding of Flint Hill, spent several days last week with Mr. and Mrs. John Cargill and family at Smith Mountain Lake. Tuesday they had lunch with Mrs. T. S. Williams of Amherst at the Winton Country Club.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Smith, Rachall, Angela, and Comer of Albany, Ga. are spending some time with Mrs. Alice Wood. Sunday, Mrs. Wood and the Smiths entertained with a picnic. Those attending were Joe Reid and family and friends of Arlington, Buck and Roy Buhanan of Kent, Conn., Gladys Bowie, Lil Dendrick, both of Culpeper, Mr. and Mrs. Kent Reeve and family and Miss Mary Miller Wood.

Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Fairfax were Wednesday and Thursday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Calvert in Falls Church. Their Monday caller was Norris Stehle of Arl
