Boy Scout Troop 123, Washington held a Court of Honor Sunday, August 15, at the Recreation Center. Scouts participating were Eric Bear, Jimmy Bywaters, Dale Cameron, Doyle Dunn, Duane Fincham, Gary Smoot, Edward Summers, Robert Starks and James B. Bywaters, Scoutmaster.

They were awarded various merit badges and skill awards. Among them were cooking, camping, fishing and swimming. A total of 43 awards were presented.

Eric Bear, Jimmy Bywaters, Dale Cameron, Duane Fincham, Gary Smoot, and Downing Reeve were promoted to Second-Class Scouts. Advancing to Tenderfoot Scouts were Edward Summers and Robert Starks.

Following the ceremony, the boys and their families enjoyed a picnic at the pavilion. The Scouts
