JOHNSON REUNION
The annual reunion of the “Red Oak” Johnsons is set for this Sunday, August 22 at the Sperryville fire hall with dinner at 1 p.m. Bring a picnic or covered dish and join the Johnson clan, said a family spokesman.
FIRE COMPANY MEETING
All members of the Washington Fire Company and Rescue Squad and of the Ladies Auxiliary are requested to attend a meeting Monday night, August 23, at the fire house beginning at 7:30 p.m. The special business will concern the forthcoming carnival scheduled for the first weekend in September.
