During a recent talk to the youngsters on the springtime rebirth of life, she passed out flower seeds to her youthful congregation. The children took the seeds home and planted them. Later, they will bring the flowers back to church and use them in an altar arrangement. "I want to involve children in the worship services,” she stressed.
Miss Pittard said she is looking forward to working with her new Rappahannock parishoners. “People have time for people here. I’m glad to see that.”
