A Cultural Arts exhibit was held last Wednesday by members of the Rappahannock Homemakers Clubs. The winning exhibit in painting, ceramics, needlecraft, stitchery and creative crafts will be included in state judging July 11. This will take place during the Virginia Extension Homemakers’ 1 Conference at VPI&SU in ' Blacksburg.
In local competition winners were Barbara Gentry, Flint Hill, painting; Carol Manwaring, Woodville, ceramics, with Nellie Gilkey, Chester Gap, second; First in needlecraft stitchery went to Mrs. Amos Butler, Woodville with Mrs. Flo Duvall, Flint Hill, second; Mrs. Butler was also first in creative crafts
