Jeffrey L. Butler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Butler of McLean received a diploma in diesel mechanics from the Diesel Institute of America in Landover, Md., on June 30, 1978. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Jenkins of Washington and Mrs. Amos Butler of Woodville.
