Thornton gave physicals to over fifty prospective athletes here at the high school. As in past years there was no charge to the athletes nor to the school for their services. Very few schools have access to such generous professionals. These efforts above and beyond the call of duty are not expected, but are of tremendous benefit to the student athletes involved.
