Slaw gives a new and delicious way to preserve cabbage: FROZEN SLAW 1 head cabbage (chopped) 1 grated carrot 1 chopped green pepper 1 tsp. salt Mix cabbage and salt. Let stand 1 hour. Orain, add carrot and pepper. Let stand while making dressing. Dressing 1 cup vinegar % cup water 2 cups sugar I tsp. mustard seed 1 tsp. celery seed Mix and boil 5 minutes. Cool to warm and pour over cabbage. Freeze. Thaw before serving. Can be served individually or as stuffing for tomatoes.
