Congressional candidate Lewis P. Fickett Jr., a threeterm delegate to Virginia's General Assembly, has released a financial statement showing a net worth of nearly $100,000.
The Democrat from Fredericksburg challenged his opponent, Republican Rep. J. Kenneth Robinson of Winchester, to do the same.
“It is my belief,” Fickett said, that any person seeking public office should be willing to prove to the public they have nothing to hide."
Fickett called the incumbent Robinson a wealthy man who "constantly votes for big business and the utility companies."
