Mrs. Iva Lee Coates Jenkins, 61, of Etlan died December 9, 1978 at her home. She was the widow of Ashby Jenkins, and the daughter of the late Ervin and Ethel Cubbage Coates, both of Madison. Mrs. Jenkins was a native and life resident of Madison and a member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, John Lewis Jenkins and three grandchildren, all of Culpeper; and a sister, Mrs. Mildred McFarlin of Winchester.
A funeral service was held Monday at the Gore Funeral Home Chapel in Culpeper conducted by the Rev. Peter Burkett. Interment was in the Etlan Cemetery.
Brent
A funeral service for Miss Gloria Ann Brent of Washington was held Friday at the First Baptist Church in Culpeper conducted by the Rev. Wendell Grant of Marshall. Burial was in the First Baptist Church Cemetery.
Miss Brent, 32, died December 4, 1978 in Fauquier County. She was a retired clerk carrier with the Postal Service. She was a native of Washington and a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Mable Brent, Washington; her father, Cleveland Brent, Sr., Culpeper; a brother, Cleveland Brent, Jr., Washington, D.C.; and two sisters, Miss Brenda Brent, Fairfax and Miss Donna Brent, Washington, D.C.
