December 7, 1978 the Future Business Leaders of America, held a meeting for the purpose of electing officers. Those elected to the offices were Kim Gilkey, president; Connie Whorton, vice-president; Kathy Romine, secretary; Edie Hackley, treasurer; Terry Woodward, reporter and Lisa Settle, historian. Committees for the up coming installation were also formed. Barbara Martin and Valerie Jordan are chairpersons of the' invitation and refreshment committees, respectively.
The SCA officers and homeroom representatives held a meeting last Monday during first period. The SCA members are going to raise money, with which we hope to put up a fence around the baseball field. The SCA is sponsoring a Christmas assembly. The teachers are going to have a play and the choir is going to sing. We also hope to have a guest speaker.
