Male Singers
Needed
Male singers and actors are desparately needed for the Rappahannock County Library’s production of “H.M.S. Pinafore” to be performed October 3 and 4 at the theater on Gay Street.
Auditions Monday night drew a crowd but most of the theatrical hopefuls were female. Director Don Bomberger emphasized that a professional singing voice is not necessary for a part in the Gilbert and Sullivan operetta. All it takes is enthusiasm and the ability to carry a tune.
Anyone interested in trying out for a role may call the library at 675-3780 or Mr. and Mrs. Waldron O’Conner at 675-3283 to schedule an audition.
