Funeral services for Margaret Cordelia Thomas of Viewtown and Washington, D. C., were conducted Saturday at the graveside in Culpeper Masonic Cemetery by the Rev. Ray Crockett.
Mrs. Thomas. 93, a retired nurse, died Wednesday at the Washington Home in Washington, D. C. A native of Round Rock, Texas, she was the daughter of the late George Thomas- Brown and the late Laura Morgan Brown.
After living for a number of years in California, she came east and became a member of the staff at the Washington Home.
Following her retirement, she made her home with her niece, Mrs. Thomas A. O’Halloran at Viewtown, and later entered the Washington Home as a resident.
She was a member of the Redondo United Methodist Church at Redondo Beach, Calif.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Mima Talbert of Grant’s Pass, Ore., and several nieces.
