Easter 1996, Rock Mills
As of June 7, graduation day, seven grandchildren of Paul and Martha Henze will have graduated from Rappahannock County High School. From left are Sara Dodd-Henze (20QQ), Albert Dodd-Henze (2003), Daniel Pierson (2004), Ellanora Dodd-Henze (2005), James Henze (2007), Benjamin Pierson (2008), and Emma Dodd-Henze (2008). Sara, Albert, Ellie and Emma are the children of Martin Henze and Laura Dodd; Daniel and Ben are the sons of Libet Henze and Roger Pierson; James Henze is the son of Alex Henze and Candy Wroth. Back in the late '60s, Paul and Martha Henze and their six children would head for the hills of Rappahannock almost every weekend from their home in Glen Echo, Md. Soon, they fell in love with an old, crumbling farmstead near Rock Mills and bought it. Since then, the Henzes and three of their children have chosen to make Rappahannock their home.
