The Iowa experiment station recently carried on some. He was comparing work with different kinds of forage crops for hogs. On June 4 the pigs were sorted and weighed. They were divided as evenly as possible considering type, sex, size, and even color. They weighed the same in each pen when we were through. The average weight was 30 pounds.
