We started to sell milk on the 15th of April. The cows were kept clean and were given an abundance of feed. They responded to the good, care with a large flow of milk. Milking hours were six in the morning and seven in the evening. We always took gieat care to be regular in milking and feeding. The cows were fed in addition to grass during the pasture period and hay during winter, a mixture of ground corn and cob meal, bran, and oil meal. Salt was always placed near the watering troiigh and the cows were In every way encouraged to drink as much water as possible.
