the Prince of Peace.

For the lack of peace in ear Own Ih'es we ourselve* are to blame—the peace which came to bring Him near to every 'one- *# us, and no one who truly seeks it will fail to get H. First, by example which ever holds before Us that on manner of thought - and speech, of acting and suffering, in which peace is found— not thinking of ourselves, not even dwelling on our own mistakes saye with the thought of doing better in the future. Ijf^we do this we shall keep clear of the miserable thoughts that wreck peace wherever they prevail. Secondly, peace is given through the great disclosure which He came to make, that God is love.

However things may go with us we are in God's hands, and He is sirpreine in power, and infinite •in love. Apd lastly, we receive peace through the forgiveness of our sins, for sin is the one essential principle of unrest. Because Christ has dealt with sin, He is our peace, and as we fall at His feet we shall see, as far as it may bo seen in this world, why the host of heaven sang when He - was born.
