WSCS Met Thursday
The Womans Society of Christian Service of the Washngton Methodist church met last Thursday night at 7:30 in the home of Mrs. Gene Wagner. The devotional was led by Mrs. Mabel Racer, after which followed the program, led by Mrs. Wagner. After the program a most delightful social hour was enjoyed by all.

Mrs. Jessie Rowzie, Mrs. Mabel Racer, Mrs. Bertha Compton and Mrs. Aura Ramey attended a Missionary Institute held at Trinity Methodist' churelt, Orange, last Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Brent of Richmond, tiave announced the birth of a son, Andrew Mason, born Monday, January 16. Mr. Brent is the brother of Mrs. W. A. Miller, with whom he and his family visit quite frequently.

Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Mills have announced the engagement of their daughter, Isa Mae Mills Johnston, to Russell Davis Burke, son of Mrs. Bessie Burke and the late Mr. Burke of Culpeper.
The marriage will take pigce in the near future.
