A meeting of the F. T. Valley H.D. club was held December 1. A great deal of business was -brought up before'the demonstration. Mrs. John Revercomb and Mrs. Maury Brown went over'with the group the Federation Goal for the year. It was decided to hare two socials during the year for the youth in the community. Mrs. C. R Hite went over the goals with the group. ‘ Each goal was taken up separately and the members decided what they would do to carry out these goals. The club decided to give a radio program some time in February. The month of December always brings the thought of Christmas. “Wrapping Chhstmas Presents” then was right in line for the demonstration which -wan' given by the ggent. Thirty ideas were passed on to the ‘ Club members on how to wrap present.. The hostess, Mrs. John Revereomb, served very splendid refreshments. We were awfully glad to have two visitors, Mrs. George Taylor and her mother, from the" Sperryville dub at this meeting.
Sperryville 4-H dub met at the school December 1. The girls were taught how to care for their hands and one manicure was given. The agent showed the girls how to make bedroom slippers and a pot holder. The girls cut out patterns and plan to make them and give them for Christmas presents..
Attend Meeting At Warrantee ; The home agent and Mrs. Clarence Racer attended a demonstration on “How to Hammer Aluminum and Copper Trays” and other articles at Warrenton an November 28. Miss Catherine P«|rry, art specialist of V.P.I., was present to carry on the demonstration.
