Scholastic Honor Roll
Thirty-three pupils of Sperryville Elementary School have att tained the honor roll for the first section of this school year. The requirements are an average of 90% or above on all school subjects and the grade of “satisfactory” on attitudes and habits, There are four periods during the session and each period covers 45 days.
Honor roll pupils in the second grade were William Lee Atkins,, Bobby Lewis Jenkins, Jack Davis Thomas, Shirley Brown, Charlotte Corbin, and Edna Yates Schaefer.,
Mary Lou Davis is listed on the honor roll for the third grade.
In the fifth grade the honor roll includes Rena Mae Prye, Audrey Pullen, and Elisabeth Smith.
Mrs. Johnson’s sixth grade lists Margaret Denvers on the honor roll, and Mrs. Keyset's sixth grade lists Betty Bruce, Emma Keys, and Betty Johnson.
The seventh grades of Mrs. Kilby and Mrs. Quaintance list Jehane Dellinger, Margy Dodson, and Mary Foster on the honor roll, while Mrs. Walker’s seventh grade lists Guntis Baltins, Francis Bruce, Jimmie Clatterbuck, Bonnie Pullen, Faye Black, Joyce Clarke, Juanita Dodson, Willie Estes, Rebecca Jones, Bernice Nether*, Fiorina Pullen, Reba Smoot, Georgia Standish, Elisabeth Varner, Frances Walker, and Nancy WQaon.
