An opinion has been expressed that if the county succeeds in obtaining the location of a permanent Virginia Orchestra Festival camp, the county will be the envy, of the other 99 counties in the state.
The county stands in the position of “everything to gain and nothing to lose.” If enough work cannot be done by the citizens in : the county to sell the required number of memberships to attend the concerts, then the money can be returned to those Vvho have ii tickets and' the Virginia Orchestra camp will accept pne of the- invitations extended by other counties for the camp’s location. r
LUNCH ROOM PROBLEMS TO FEATURE P-T.A MEETING
The P.-T.A. of Flint HiU met last night and has called a meeting for Thursday night, December ' 14, at 7:80 p.m. at Flint HiU School. Mrs. John S. Browning, president, is urging every patron and friend interested in the school lunch room to be present, as this meeting is to discuss problems^ finances, and policies of operating the school lunch'room. c
