Mrs. J. E. Keyser, Jr., entertained at bridge at her home last Wednesday 'evening, having as her guests Mrs. T. C. Lea, Mrs. George Davis, Mrs. Lewis Turner, Mrs. B. M. Miller, Mrs, Charles Bruce, Mrs. J. W. Price, Mrs. J. E. Keyser, Mrs. Frank Moffett, Mrs. Wade H. Massie, Jr.,' Mrs. Robert Massie, Mrs. Elizabeth DeBergh, and Mrs. R. L. Cheatham. First prize was awarded to Mrs. B. M. Miller, low prize to Mrs. R. L. Cheatham.

Guests of Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Updike Sunday for dinner were Mr. and Mrs. George Ross, of Washington, D. C., and Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Scudere of Front Roy* aL Mrs/ Mary Partlow, who had been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Updike for several days, returned to her home in Washington, D.C., with Mr and Mrs. Ross.
