Mr. and Mrs. wade a. massie, * Jr., motored to Charlottesville Monday, to meet their son Jim Massie, who returned home with them for his summer vacation from the University of Virginia.
Mrs. John Nethers and daughters, Diane and Bonnie, and Mrs. James H. Brown and children, Jimmie and Jeane, were visitors Wednesday of Mrs. Henry Wharton. Others guests in the home were Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Ut* and family, Lois, Harold, Mafjorie, Billy, and Etta, of Estes, and Mrs. Roy C. Wharton of Washington, D. C. , John M. Caskie whp ha^ been spending some time as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. W. Arthur Miller at “Mt. Prospect” left for Richmond Wednesday. Mr. Caskie will visit Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Brent and Miss Mary H. Caskie for several days.
Mrs. T. E. Hudson spent Monday and Tuesday with Miss Ethel Long and Miss Mary Stark in Woodville. Mrs. Hudson leaves for Washington, D.C., Friday, to attend the marriage of her granddaughter Margaret Lee Hudson, which will take place Mtonday, June 11.
Jack Taylor left Tuesday for Suffolk, where he has accented a position.
