Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller will motor to Hollins College Friday. Mr. Miller will return home that evening, returning to Hollins again on Sunday for the graduation exercises of their daughter Miss •Louise Miller, who is graduating and swill receive her BA degree. Miss Belle Strother will return home with Mr. and Mrs^Miller for a visit.
Mrs. T. T. Taylor and her son and grandson F. F. R. Taylor and Tom Taylor spent the week end at “Linger Longer’’ their summer home near Sperryville.
Miss Ethel Jenkins, accompanied by Mrs. J. W. Critzer and Miss Elizabeth Racer, entered tha "University |of Virginia hospital for treatment Tuesday, Miss Jenkins will remain at the hospital for several weeks.
A number of Rappahannock folks were in Warrenton Friday to attend the fireman’s carnival and parade. W. B. Dennis, of Castleton, is director of Culpeper Municipal Band, which wras one of the band units marching in the parade.
Mr. and Mrs. George Settle, Jr., of Powhatan were the luncheon guests Saturday of Mrs. George Settle and Miss Kate Walker at their home “Locust Grove”. Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Settle were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Janfes Settle.
