Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Jenkins and sons of Arlington, spent the week end with Mrs. Hubert Jenkins.

Misses Philips and Lyne Updike were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Verner and Miss Elizabeth Verner.

Mr. and Mrs. Ivan F. Vannoy of Alexandria and Mrs. Elizabeth Jenkins Thornhill of Warrenton spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Walker B. Jenkins at Washington.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Comstock of Florida, are visiting Mrs. Comstock’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Sisk at their home in Flint Hill.

Mrs. Edward Tapp of Washington, D. C., spent the week end with her husband at Amissville.

Mrs, M. E. Cottrell of Toano arrived Friday for a visit with her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne. Mrs. Lyne who has been quite sick is im proving.

Dinner guests Sunday of the Misses Lillie and Nellie Johnson on the Red Oak, were Mr and Mrs. Lewis Corbin and daughters Betty Ann, Jane, and JShirley of Flint Hill.

Mr. Stone, a student at the University of Richmond, spent the week end with his former school ipate Ralph Strawn in the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor.
