Mint Hill WSCS Meets
Mrs. M. R. Bradford and Mrs. M. R, Bradford, Jr., entertained on Thursday, February 21, the Woman's Society of Christian Service of the Flint Hill Methodist Church, when 16 members were present. Mrs. Cary was leader and the subject was “Trouble Spots Around the World." After the meeting the refreshments were served by the hostess.
Mr. and Mrs. Luther S. Jenkins, J% are receiving congratulations on the birth of a daughter, Linda Elizabeth, born March 1, at University Hospital. On Sunday, Luther S. Jenkins, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Jenkins, J. W. Jenkins and Mrs. Watson Jenkins of Culpeper visited Mrs. Jenkins and new baby.
FIRE AUXILIARY MET
The regular meeting of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Rappahannock Fire Company met in the Town Hall on Tuesday evening. The president, Mrs. Wade H. Massie, Jr., presided. Most important business on the agenda was to pay bills, discuss plans for the dance which will be held in the Rappahannock County High (School, Friday evening, March 7 and to cooperate with the Town Council in “Clean Up Week." Two serving tables were purchased to, be used for serving coffee. After the business session, Mffe. Walker Jenkins was hostess to refreshments.
