The trend of social evolution took the course of increasing emphasis on the individual. It is toward the status of Child of God that the individual has the opportunity and responsibility of performing his stewardship and the exercise of his personal faculties.
The truly progressive trend is toward greater individualism and the working out of voluntary cooperative controls to protect all individuals. If people really understood both collectiveism and individualism, we would be safe from dictatorship. No dictator would arise among a people iwho believed their Tights to be inherent and coming from God.
