Mrs. John P. Snead entertained live tables at bridge Wednesday evening at her home in Sperryville. Guests were Mrs. George Taylor, Mrs. P. L. Thornton, Mrs. G. Brown Miller, Mrs. Mary Botts Qaaintance, Mrs* John Davis, Mrs. •Earl B. Combs, Mrs. Holmes Hall, Mrs. Carroll Menefee, Mrs. Corrie Eastham, Mrs. C. H. H. Branch, Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr., Mrs. C. 0. Calhoun, Mrs. Charles Estes, Mrs. H. B. Winfrey, Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer, Mrs. L. J. Kilby, Mrs. 1. R. Kilby, Mr®. W. H. Lyne, Mrs. R. E. Wood, and Mrs. R. M. Menefee. A salad course was served by the hostess at the conclusion of the game. High score prize-was won by Mrs. Estes; second by Mrs. Branch; traveling prize by Mrs. Winfrey; and low score by Mrs. Thornton.
