Point-To-Point Races
Ten entries to date for the Farmers’ Race show signs of high interest in Saturday’s Point-toPoint Races at Leeway Farm.
Entries are coming in daily for the jumping races, with 23 , scheduled so far, and with post * entries acceptable, more are expected by the time the first race begins at 1 o’clock.
The weather last year for the Point-to-Point was made to order, and hopes are high that Old Sol will shine sweetly on Saturday, but it won’t matter much. Fun is fun, and it’ll take nothing short of a blizzard to dampen the spirit that comes to Rappahannock for the annual Point-to-Peint.
“Telenews,” a. television news program, is sending cameras to record the event. The weather may have some effect on whether they can get good pictures or not.
