Clarence R. Hisle
ClarenceRudasill Hisle of Sperryville died Monday, March 3, in Martha Jefferson hospital, Charlottesville, following a brief illness.
A son of Lloyd A. Hisle and Mary Rudasill Hisle, he was a life-long resident of Sperryville. He married Miss Kate Gentry of Charlottesville, who preceded him in death about 20 years.
Mr. Hisle, 74, is survived by three children: Clarence P. Hisle of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. Lee M. Smith of Uniontown, Pa., and Miss Mary G. Hisle of Charlottesville; two sisters, Mrs.'Philip H. Gentry of Charlottesville and Mrs. John R. Hopkins of St. Petersburg, Fla., five grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Reynolds Memorial Baptist church with the Rev. A. Paul Thompson officiate ing. Pallbearers were Robert F. Estes, P. L. Thornton, Dr. J. P. Snead, Charles H. Estes, H. H. Aylor, J. W. Fletcher, James F. Sm^th, and G. M. Black. Burial, with Masonic honors, was in Sperryville cemetery. -
