, At the Seventh District conven- - tion held in Harrisonburg Saturday, Representative Burr P. Harrison accepted renomination and declared that Virginia Democrats ‘believe true party loyalty is demonstrated by loyalty to true party principles.” A fellow Winchester attorney and longtime friend, J Sloan Kuyendall, placed his name in nomination.
When the roll call was partially complete, it became so obvious that the vote .would be unanimous in nominating Rep. Harrison that E. M. Jones, a delegate from Rappahannock, made a motion that the meeting dispense with the roll call and make the nomination unanimous by a rising vote. The motion met enthusiastic response.
