The other day I heard a couple of construction boys talking about, a new school building they were working on. They mentioned marble thresholds at the doors, private showers and drying rooms, dust-proof chalk racks, lockers, and all kinds of fanciness.
Now, maybe that’s the reason 1 didn’t learn much when I was in school. The building wasn’t fancy enough. There wasn’t a shower in thejplace, much less a private one with a private drying room. There were probably thresholds at the door and you tried not to fall over them, but I know they weren’t marble. We coughed and sneezed along with the chalk dust, blissfully unaware of its horrors. 1 never heard of a fatality, however. _
