Mrs. Hugh G. Gore
Mrs. Maude Dodson Gore, 72, Widow of HughG. Gore, died May 1 at the residence of her son-inlaw and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Miller, in Washington. •
Mrs. Gore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Dodson, was a native of Rappahannock county and spent only one year of her life away from the county during the time she was in Kerrville, Texas, where she and Mr. Gore sought a warm climate for his health. She was a lifelong member of the Baptist Church at Sperryville,* Reynolds Memorial.
Mrs. Gore is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Charles Estes of Sperryville, Mrs. J. William Camp, bell of Luray, Mrs. Fields Benton of Washington, and Mrs. Brooke M. Miller of Washington; two grandchildren, Peter Estes of Sperryville and Mrs. Mark Johnson, Jr., of Gordonsville; and a g r e a t-grandchild, Mark William Johnson.
