Settle - Jenkins
Mr. and Mrs- Clarence L. Jenkins of Sperryville have announced the marriage of their daughter, Beatrice Florence, to Brueton Franklin Settle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Settle of Castleton.
The marriage took place Saturday, November 15 at the Woodville Parsonage, with Rev- S. Felton Carter officiating the double ring ceremony.
Mrs. Settle is a graduate of Rappahannock County High School, class of ‘52. Mr. Settle attended Washington High School
After a short wedding trip,, the couple are at the home of the bride’s parents in F. T. Valley.
HARVEST FESTIVAL
The members of the Sperryville Baptist Church are planning a “Harvest Festival,” for the regular 11 o’clock services on Sunday morning, at Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church. Each member of the congregation is asked to bring vegetables, fruit, or some production of the soil to be given away. After services the gifts will be taken to the needy families in the county.
