H. B. Winfrey visited Mrs. Winfrey in University Hospital Sunday. Mrs. Jesse Clater, who went to Charlottesville with him, visited her aunt, Miss Durham, who remains ill at her home followng hospitalization at Martha Jefferson Hospital.
Mrs. Mary Thornhill, Mrs. Browning Waters and her son, Browning Waters III of Glasgow spent the weekend at Rock Villa. On Sunday Rev- and Mrs. A. Paul Thompson and Ann Rodes joined the family and guests for dinner,, William Thornton Mrs. Waters and Son, Mrs. Thompson and Ann Rodes visited Mrs. Lucy Yowell in F. T- Valley Sunday Morning.
Sunday dinner guests of Elder and Mrs. J. H. Daily were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stevens, Mr. and Mrs. John Moore of Front Royal, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Baldwin and their daughter, Cora, Mrs. T. G. Baldwin of Griffinsburg, Mrs. William Fletcher and two daughters and son, Alicia, and Sebra and Duvan Fletcher of Strasburg. Elder W. J. Fletcher, who was operated on last Wednesday at University Hospital, reported to be improving, Mrs. John Armentrout of Woodville was baptized at 3:00 o’clock on Sunday by the pastor of Thornton's Gap Church, Elder J. H. Daily.
