The 4-H’ers were in Christ? mas spirit and sang a number of Christmas songs. Junior Nichols, Walter B Kilby, Robert Martin and Jimmy Frye have decided to take electric project and also tractor maintenance. Project work for girls was selecting of Patterns and Material and taking measurements.
Washington 4-H club met ThursdayJWfk Ja?ob Sisk presiding. The members voted to write a history of 4-H club work in Rappahannock and committee appointed for this was: Betty Johnson, John Turner, Georgia Standish, Donad Gore, and LeHa Gentry. Members also signed up for both electric and tractor maintenance project. Project work was on selecting of pattern, material and taking of measurements.
F. T. Valley H- D. met at feelle Meade School Thursday afternoon. This group planned for Christmas boxes they wer*e giving and discussed special interest projects the members wished to participate/in. The demonstration was on simple foods for holiday entertaining.
Mrs. Les Walters entertained the Amissville H.D. club Wednesday with a party. The special interest activity, slip covers, was discussed with two wishing to take part. After the demonstration on decorating cookies, the members played games and exchanged presents.
Woodville H.D. club met at Mrs. R. M. Johnson’s Friday afternoon for, a party. After demonstration, simple ideas for holiday entertaining, the group played games and exchanged gifts. Woodville members were interested in making a dress and making of slip covers.
