Chief Forest Warden Raymond M. Johnson of Rappahannock County announces the appointment of Donald L. Grosedose, Vocational Agriculture Teacher of Rappahannock County High School, as Local Forest Warden. With the apppointment of Mr. Grosedose it will increase the fiVe control organization of Rappahannock County to 17 wardens. This will be one warden to each 2,824 acres of woodland which has to be protected from forest fires. This, as you will notice, is considerable forest acreage for so few men to protect, but with the asistance of the regular fire fighting crews which the present wardens have registered to work under them and the cooperation of the general public in responding to re
