Capt. W. E. Miller, U.S.N. Retired and Mrs, Miller of Boston, Mass, were guests Tuesday of Capt. Miller’s uncle, R. L. Miller of “Poplar Shade.” They were enroute to Key West, Florida, to spend Christmas with their son-in-law and daughter. Com. John E. Balson U.S.N. and Mrs. Balson. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Hall o*f Rose Hill were in Alexandria on Tuesday to see Mr. Hall’s sister, Mrs. Ray Henrick, who has recently returned home from the hospital after an operation. Mrs. W. C. Hall and her little grandson, Phillip Kuhn are spending the weekend in Washington, D. C. with Dr. and Mrs. L. T. Callahan.
