Whereas, Rappahannock was formerly combined with Culpeper, we regret the loss of our former representative and good friend D. French Slaughter, who ably co-operated in promoting our best interests through mutual understanding of our counties.
Now, therefore, be it resolved that this Council expresses its good fortune and pleasure of joint representation with Fauquier county and state its desire 'for a high degree of cooperation in selecting the most qualified person available to promote our common interest. , . Respectfully submitted

Sunday, December 21 at 10:45 a.m. a Christmas Pageant by the children and young people of the Sunday school will be given ia the basement assembly room of the Reynolds Memorial Baptist church.
