Huntly Home Demonstration club had an exceptionally good turn out at the family picnic on Monday night. Each family prepared their basket and all enjoyed sampling other folks cooking.
Sperryville H D met with Mrs. Anne Thompson: The program for. this group was a demonstration on frozen desserts.
Flint Hill Club met with Mrs. Frank Cary for their annual picnic. These members each prepared a dish to give a well planned and very pleasant gathering. Miss Mary Bruce was the hostess for a new group of ladies wishing a club. The special name selected for this group is Massanova H D club. With such a striking name we will hope for many accomplishments from them. The demonstration given at this meeting was preparation of cold plates.
Mrs. Mary Thompson, food specialist, worked with agent Friday on the topic inexpensive and nutritious oven meals.
Miss Mary Moorman, home demonstration agent at Large, is ill in the Virginia Baptist hospital, Lynchburg, Miss Moorman has spent much time in Rappahannock and is loved by many of buf Home Demonstration members.
