Mrs. Robert E. Wood spent Thursday in Charlottesville.
Robert W. Sealock of Washington, D. C. spent the week £nd at the Lee Highway Hotel as a guest of his mother, Mrs. Z. H. Scalock.
Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Thornton of Ga. were guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. James W Fletcher at Thornton Hill.
Mrs. Jack Brown and her baby son, Steve of Leesburg are visiting Mr and Mrs. Rodes Brown while Mr. Brown is attending classes at VPI. W. H. Lyne .county agent, and his assistant, Ben Weddle are also at VPI for special courses this week. Mrs Weddle and son, Jeff are visiting in Blacksburg.
Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Manuel and children accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Chris Schaefer spent Sunday with Mr. and Mjrs. James Harris at Catlett
Mrs. Mary Thornhill of Glasgow was a week-end guest of Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown. On Wednesday afternoon Mrs Brown and her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Jack Brown were guests of Mrs. J. G. Brown at Woodville.
Miss Rachel and Mildred Earl Many have returned home after a month’s vacation with their uncle arid aunt, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Piehler of Rochester, New York. While they were there they visited Niagaria Falls, Toronto, Hawkestone Lake in Canada and they also made a tour of Reneca Falls and the Finger Lakes.
Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Partlow of Culpeper were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Gore and Mrs. Helen Bruce at “Barlow.” Overnight guests on Wednesday of Mrs. Bruce and Mr. and Mrs. Gore were Mr. and Mrs.. A. L. Smith of Gainesville who were accompanied home on Thursday by Edward Gore.
Mrs. W. W. Sealock was a guest Friday night and Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. David V. Chapman and Mrs. Mary C. Brown.
