Rev. and Mrs. R. G. Pulen were Tuesday night guests of Rev. Pullen’s sister, Mrs. Fannie Eastham. Rev. Pullen h pastor of Laureneeville Methodist church. Yesterday Mr. Pullen and family and Mrs. Fannie Eastham visited their mother in Arlington to help her celebrate her birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wood are leaving for VPI next week. The trailer in which die family are to live arrived Monday.

John Barksdale of Red Hill was a week-end guest of his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Barksdale. Miss Paula Miller spent Tuesday with Miss Una Good who is visiting in the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Code.

PEOLA MILLS NEWS NOTES Mrs. Douglas France and daughter Sarah of Arlington were recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin White. Dr. and Mrs. Henry Newsome and children, Clay and Patricia of Pilot Mountain, N. C. are visiting Mr, and Mrs. Irvin White. Miss Becky White, who has been spending the summer months with Dr. and Mrs. Newsome, returned to her home.
