AMISSVILLE PTA MEETING
The next regular meeting of the Amissville Parent-Teacher Associa-. tion will be held at the school, November 12 at 7:30 p.m.
The program chairman has announced that an educational film, “School in Centreville” will probably be shown in observance of American Education Week.
LADIES AUXILIARY MEETS MONDAY NIGHT
The Ladies Auxiliary to the Washington Fire Company will hold its monthly meeting this Monday night, at 7:30 in the Fire House. Please attend as plans for new undertakings will be discussed._^_
Keep Virginia Green Crews

The Keep Virginia Green crews^ of Rappahannock County consisting of 43 boys from Rappahannock High School, have received training in forestry, fire prevention and fire control and have had actual experience in suppressing fire in the forest fire of October 5.
Under the able guidance of H. B. Winfrey, principal, and Frederick Hutchison, Vo-Ag teacher and State Forest Warden, these boys have become a crew of which any county could be proud. _
The boys in the fire suppression crew are: Henry Zinn, Gordon Graves, Henry Hudson, Bunny Pullen, Robert Settle, John Eubank, Bobby Jenkins, Jimmie Clatterbuck,
Tommie Wayfand, James Wayland, Kelly Updike, Strother Brown. Milton Dodson, Archie Bailey, Rudolph Frye, Thomas ‘ Dwyer, Joseph Atkins, Ranny Aylor, Charles Leake, Charles Sisk, Ernest Clater, Robert Atkins, George Jenkins, Harold Brown, %John Dodson, Dickie Atkins, Franklin Fincham, Jerry Atkins. Henry Lucas, Gavor Foster, James Pullen, Lynn Atkins, Lester Clatterbuck, Nelson ' Williams, Nelson Atkins, Robert Thornhill, Wayne Butler, Richard Dennis, Richard Griffith, Eugene Atkins - and Don Liscomb.
