After the Hallowe’en program on October 27, a pep rally was led by the newly chosen cheerleaders of Rappahannock County High , School. The Varsity cheerleaders are Margie ' Dodson, captain; Betty Johnson, Jean Clater, Peggy Clater, Elizabeth Vemer and France^ Walker, substitute. Those for Junior Varsity are Jane Nichols, capt.; Dorothy Jane ' Williams, Caroletta Gough, Shelby Pullen, Eleanor Leake and Mary Jane Atkins.

The Senior class, chaperoned by Nick Cascio, Mr. Barker. Mr. and Mrs. Nichols, Mr. and Mrs. Bettondorf and Mr. Winfrey enjoyed a social gathering at the school on Thursday evening, October 22.

Mrs. B. R. Cox and Miss Emma L. McArthur, delegates from Rappahannock County, left Wednesday afternoon-to attend the. annual convention of the Virginia Education Association in Richmond. In their absence Mrs. B. M. Miller and Rev. A. P. Thompson have charge of their classes.
